THE FBI KNEW TEDDY HAD
MILLIONS OF PEOPLE LISTENING.
“IF I GET OUT, I'M GOING ONLINE.”
Teddy repeatedly discussed on recorded jail calls that if he got bond, he intended to go online and tell the world what had happened to him.
That wasn't an empty threat from somebody with a few hundred followers. Teddy had spent years building an audience capable of putting his version of events in front of millions of people without waiting for the FBI, the prosecutor or a news outlet to tell the story for him.
THIS WASN'T SOMETHING THEY DISCOVERED LATER.
The FBI had already investigated Teddy's TikTok presence. Its own affidavit described Teddy as having “amassed a large following” and discussed how he used TikTok to direct viewers to BearLute.com.
THEY HAD AUTHORITY TO SEARCH.
The TikTok warrant we've located was used to obtain account information and evidence from the platform.
MAKING TEDDY'S TIKTOK DISAPPEAR IS ANOTHER.
A warrant compelling a provider to disclose account records or stored content does not, by itself, explain who later caused the public account to be disabled or removed. DOJ's own guidance describes Stored Communications Act warrants as a mechanism for compelling providers to disclose stored content and records.
YEARS OF VIDEOS.
FOLLOWERS.
BUSINESS REACH.
GONE.
Teddy was still incarcerated. He still had not had a trial. But the audience he had spent years building could no longer find the accounts that had given him direct access to millions of people.
NOW HIS ABILITY TO SPEAK DIRECTLY TO MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WAS GONE TOO.
WE FOUND THE SEARCH WARRANT.
WHERE'S THE REST?
THE PAPER TRAIL
That's the hole in the record. We have evidence that investigators were interested in Teddy's TikTok. We have the FBI's own description of his large following. We have the earlier search authority. What we do not have is the later authorization trail explaining the disappearance of the accounts.
PHONE. MONEY. BACKPACK. WEBSITES.
NOW HIS VOICE.
By this point, Teddy had already watched the government take or control other pieces of his life through separate episodes documented throughout this site.
ANSWER THE QUESTIONS.
TEDDY WAS ALREADY
LOCKED IN A CELL.
The FBI knew how many people Teddy could reach. Teddy was talking on recorded calls about going online and telling the world what happened if he got bond. Shortly afterward, the accounts were gone.
IF THIS WAS LEGAL, SHOW THE AUTHORITY.
